Sausage Roll
Preparation
Skin the sausages
Divide the sausage meat into sixteen pieces and roll them into long shapes
Roll the pastry into a square shape and cut it into sixteen squares.
Put a roll of sausage on each square
Brush one edge of the pastry with the egg
Fold the pastry over, letting the fold come on the top
Put roll on a flat baking sheet seam side down
Brush it all over with the beaten egg and bake for about twenty minutes
.

1 lb Sausage
½ lb. Puff Pastry
1 egg
(enough for 16 rolls)
