Preparation

  • Skin the sausages

  • Divide the sausage meat into sixteen pieces and roll them into long shapes

  • Roll the pastry into a square shape and cut it into sixteen squares.

  • Put a roll of sausage on each square

  • Brush one edge of the pastry with the egg

  • Fold the pastry over, letting the fold come on the top

  • Put roll on a flat baking sheet seam side down

  • Brush it all over with the beaten egg and bake for about twenty minutes

  • 1 lb Sausage

  • ½ lb. Puff Pastry

  • 1 egg

    (enough for 16 rolls)
